PM GED Class Schedule

How do I register for PM GED Class?
In order to register, all online students will need to come in person to the center two different times. Once to take the Reading and Math placement tests and once to attend orientation.
In addition to tests, students must fill out an intake form, e-communications agreement, student agreement, media consent form, and sign an HSE release form.
Evening virtual students have a couple ways to complete the testing requirement. Evening students are able to come test on specific Saturdays at 9:00AM at Howard and Evanston Community Center.
Evening students are able to come test at the center at 9:00AM on Saturday July 11, Saturday July 25, or Saturday August 8.
You can sign up for an appointment or walk in to test on those Saturdays. The center is located close to the Howard red line station at 7648 N Paulina St. Chicago, IL 60626.
Evening students also have the option to come in during normal morning weekday testing days, just like morning in person students. If students chose this route, inform staff that you are interested in evening classes when at the center. To find more information about the AM testing schedule and process click HERE.
Regardless of how evening virtual students chose to complete their testing requirement, they will still need to attend an in person orientation on a Friday or Saturday morning (both are from 9:30-10:30AM).
Once students complete testing the orientation will be scheduled. Normally, orientation will be the Friday or Saturday directly after students have completed testing.
Once students attend orientation they can immediately start class.
ALL EVENING STUDENT REGISTRATION WILL END ON AUGUST 15.
*We can only accommodate students who can commit to coming to class at least two days a week*
