Students Taking Note

GED Classes at Howard Community Center

There are two GED classes. These classes aim to prepare students for the GED test. We have a PreGED Reading/Math class and a GED Reading/Math class. These classes are held Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00AM to 1:00 PM (half reading half math).

All GED classes are IN PERSON and ONLINE.

How do I register for GED Class?

We register new students on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday before 11:00AM.

In order to register, students must fill out an intake form, media consent form, and sign an HSE release form. Potential students will then take a reading and math test to be placed into the correct class. If a class is full, students will be placed on a waitlist. They will be contacted when they can begin attending class.

*Due to demand, we can only accommodate students who can commit to coming to class at least three days a week*

Students can make a registration appointment with Moon Parker (parkerm@metrofamily.org) or sign up here: https://calendly.com/heccregistration.
